Interior

The interior, full of character has a dark, marble-floored reception with exposed ceiling beams.

The former abbey refectory has been faithfully preserved and now serves as a delightfully atmospheric high-ceilinged lounge/bar, with an impressive mosaic floor, raised pulpit, plenty of comfortable red brocade seating and a marble-topped wooden bar.

The appealing wood-panelled breakfast room benefits from a large skylight.

A delightful and surprisingly spacious rear garden is bordered by the old abbey buildings and the Scalzi church, and has a central raised decking with low wicker chairs under a large canopy, 2 canopied seating areas, all surrounded by shrubs and orange trees. Breakfast can be served here in summer.
