Hotel Antico Panada
A slightly old-fashioned but quirkily appealing hotel with a welcoming feel, which is fairly original inside despite its unpromising exterior. Like similar properties in this street, it is a fairly basic offering, proximity to St. Mark's Square being its most favourable feature.
This location is very central and quite lively and, with another hotel literally only a couple of metres across the street, front rooms will be quite dark.
Exterior
A plain and very tatty-looking brown 17th century building with green shutters.
Property type: Hotel
Storeys: 4
Built Year: 1600s
Interior
Fairly homely and distinctive if quite simple, where a small reception is decorated with theatre posters and boasts an original decorative Art Nouveau glass panel.
Adjacent is a small, reasonably comfortable lounge, not so much overlooking as being overlooked by the continual passers-by on the street outside.
The low-ceilinged L-shaped breakfast room is straightforward and compact, and a small cluttered TV lounge extends to a cosy, almost pub-like wood-panelled bar.
Rooms: 48
Grounds
There are no grounds.
