 Some 5 miles outside Venice, this unexceptional though welcoming property is in an even more unexceptional and out-of-the-way location, not even convenient for the town of Mestre on whose outskirts it's situated.

There are virtually no amenities nearby, but a reasonably frequent bus service outside allows Venice to be reached in around 20 minutes.

With its own plus of on-street parking outside and very easy access to a nearby motorway, it's a better choice for those with car, especially those touring the region who wants to spend a few days in Venice.

The small but welcoming lobby, dominated by a semi-circular reception desk, has a slightly dated feel, and is furnished with a few chairs and sofas and a large picture of Venice.

With no bar, the only other public areas are 2 small but pleasantly-furnished breakfast rooms, one being mainly reserved for groups.

Area Type: In a reasonably quiet residential area on the north side of the town of Mestre, 5 miles north-west of Venice, beside the main road to Treviso but separated from it by a small street and stream. Surrounded by apartment blocks, the only amenities are a small shop and trattoria next door plus a couple of hotels nearby.
