A fairly hum-drum lower mid-range option with a slightly dated feel though welcoming air. Public areas are rather cramped, limited to a narrow lobby and first-floor breakfast room, though the latter comes with the benefit of canal views.
Guests can use the bar of the sister hotel next door. With a virtually continuous passage of people, the location is very lively and offers plenty of eating and drinking options, but all the major attractions are a good distance away, and it's a full 2.4km to St. Mark's Square.
However, the railway station is within comfortable walking distance and the close proximity of Piazzale Roma makes it especially good for those arriving by bus or car.
A 4-storey yellow corner building with green shutters, livened by window boxes to the upper 2 floors.

Minimal public areas consist of a tiny reception with no lounge area, where gilded mirrors and a chandelier give a nod to traditional styling, but the overall feel is dated. On the first floor is a diminutive breakfast room overlooking the canal.
There are no grounds.
