A straightforward and pleasant enough little property that has fairly basic public areas, but a front terrace in the square, where breakfast can be taken, and a tiny rear courtyard give it that something extra.

As for the location, the “beautiful site” of its name is less so than many others in this city, but is reasonably pleasant, on an attractive square 100 yds from the Grand Canal and convenient for many sights including the Fenice Theatre.

The dark reception with has a beamed ceiling, damask wallpaper and a couple of plush red sofas and armchairs. Two rather plain breakfast rooms, one with a long mirrored wall, are separated by a compact bar area which opens to a front terrace for al fresco breakfasts in summer.

A small rear tiled terrace, between 2 parts of the property, is shaded by a roof trellis with trailing green plants and is furnished with white iron tables and chairs and potted plants.
