St. Mark's Square and other major sights are very close at hand. The building was the home of the composer Vivaldi for around 20 years, and concerts of his music are often held in the church next door.

Interior

The 17th-century styled interior has a classy feel, with polished patterned marble floors, rugs and antique furnishings throughout. The delightful lounge is comfortably furnished in red and green and has an antique desk serving as a reception.

The breakfast room, separated into two areas, is pleasantly decorated in peach and cream but quite dark, and an inviting wood-beamed bar can be found across a courtyard in the second building.

A narrow, leafy, paved courtyard separates the 2 buildings and has flowerbeds, pot plants and a private landing stage. The small 3rd-floor roof terrace has stunning views across the lagoon, and in summer serves as a bar and dinner restaurant.
